Geo-based Resource Allocation for Joint Clustered V2I and V2V Communications in Cellular Networks

Cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) communications have gained traction as they can improve safe driving, efficiency, and convenience. However, mobility the rising number of vehicles make efficiency resource allocation (RA) schemes more difficult. Different RA been proposed to share C-V2X resources effectively. Nevertheless, routing-aware has not attracted enough attention in literature. This paper discusses various scenarios where routing-awareness be employed performance proposes a method that assumes cluster-based routing for vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) geo-based vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. V2I are grouped using density-based spatial clustering applications with noise (DBSCAN) algorithm connected cluster heads (CHs) dedicated short-range (DSRC). In supposed scenario, CHs use cellular blocks (RBs) forward vehicles’ traffic toward base station (BS). two heuristic algorithms enable some RBs already assigned V2V their links without significantly affecting QoS requirements connections.The take into account formed clusters loads, consequently routing-aware. Based on simulation results, spectrum by about 75% average while quality maintained.
